How You Can Help

• Support only accredited sanctuaries.

The accrediting process provides the public a tool to affirm the facility operates under strict policies and procedures.

• Please do NOT support any facilities that breed animals.

• Contact a member sanctuary in your area to donate money or your time.

• Participate in sanctuary programs:

1. Gifts "In Honor" and "In Memory" of good friends or loved ones (animal and human) may be made to member sanctuaries. Many will send out acknowledgements as well publish the gift in their newsletter.

2. Bequests - By including a sanctuary in your estate plans, you can leave a legacy memorializing a lifetime of compassion for animals.

3. Sponsorships – Many sanctuaries offer animal sponsorship programs where your funds will go towards helping/caring for a specific animal.

4. Wish Lists – Many sanctuaries publish wish lists of items they need for daily operations.
